Hanoi National University has just announced the organization of the Olympic competition for high school students. This is the first time the competition is organized in order to encourage teachers and students for their creativity, good teaching, good learning; giving opportunities to interact, learn, and improve the quality of teaching at the high school level. The competition also contributes gifted students and opportunities for excellent students to be admitted directly to university-level training programs of Hanoi National University.
The exam is scheduled to be held on January 8-9, 2022, in Hanoi, with the following subjects: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, Literature, History and Geography.
The content of the exam is in the high school curriculum and some advanced knowledge. Detailed study guides for each subject will be sent to the teams after registering for the exam. Candidates are nationwide high school students.
Regarding the number of candidates, the teams from Department of Education and Training include no more than 10 members per team for each subject; High schools of Hanoi National University may appoint no more than 30 members per team for each subject. Teams of specialized high schools (excluding schools that already have candidates competing according to the team of the Department of Education and Training), must not exceed 10 members per team for each subject. Teams of other High Schools, no more than 2 members per team for each subject.
To register for the competition, the Departments of Education and high schools must send the application to Hanoi National University before December 25, 2021 and send the list of participating teams before December 30, 2021.
